I'd like to suggest a purchase of the following book:

Kenneth J.D. MacKenzie, M.E. Smith
Multinuclear Solid-State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of Inorganic Materials, Volume 6 (Pergamon Materials Series)

This book contains broad and detailed overview of modern solid-state NMR applications for inorganic material study. It is of a great use as for inorganic chemists and material engineers, so for NMR specialists.
The books on inorganic solid-state NMR currently held/accessed by the Library are very few, fairly dated and do not cover recent developments.

More details:
Hardcover: 748 pages
Publisher: Pergamon; 1 edition (May 10, 2002)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0080437877
ISBN-13: 978-0080437873

Regards,
Ekaterina

I like to recommend this text as a helpful tool to all physiotherapy students.

Clinical and Radiological Anatomy of the Lumbar Spine (Churchill Livingstone) - By Nikolai Bogduk
Published: 01 March 2012
ISBN 13: 9780702043420 ISBN 10: 0702043427

"Clinical and Radiological Anatomy of the Lumbar Spine, 5/e" continues to offer practical, comprehensive coverage of the subject area in a unique single volume which successfully bridges the gap between the basic science of the lumbar region and findings commonly seen in the clinic. Prepared by an author of international renown, "Clinical and Radiological Anatomy of the Lumbar Spine, 5/e" provides clear anatomical descriptions of the individual components of the lumbar region, as well as the intact spine, accompanied by a full colour artwork programme. Detailed anatomical descriptions are followed by an explanation of the basic principles of biomechanics and spinal movement together with a comprehensive overview of embryology and the influence of age-related change in the lumbar region. The problem of low back pain and instability are also fully explored while an expanded section on medical imaging completes the volume. "Clinical and Radiological Anatomy of the Lumbar Spine, 5/e" offers practical, validated and clinically relevant information to all practitioners and therapists working in the field of low back pain and will be ideal for students and practitioners of chiropractic, osteopathic medicine and osteopathy, physiotherapy, physical therapy, pain medicine and physiatry worldwide.

Thanks for consideration.

I have bought it to the attention of the library staff before but nothing is being done about it so I move around from library to library trying to find one that is a comfortable temperature and none of them are. The libraries are always too cold, especially now that it has gotten into the colder months. It is hard to study when all you can think about is how cold it is, even when you're rugged up in jumpers and jeans. The libraries where I have had the most trouble with the freezing temperatures is the Hawken Engineering Library and the Biol. Sciences library. I can honestly not feel my hands as I am typing this. Thank you for your time and I hope that you at least consider doing something about this.

Could you please stipulate somewhere on the website / homepage etc. that you need to have your student ID with you in order to even enter the library? I was kicked out of the library last night (after being there all day studying) as i didn't have my ID after leaving to buy a bottle of water. I wasn't aware of this, could you please make it clearer so other people don't have to experience the frustration. Thanks,

There seems to be a problem this semester with students camping out at the express computers. It's very frustrating as a student who needs to look up a book to have to leave because the express computers are being used by students who are eating lunch and checking facebook.

I would like to see the keyboards in the university libraries more frequently checked as some do become very disgusting. I think the worst two are Biol Sciences and SSAH. Obviously, they are very large libraries, but surely more of an effort could be made.

Dear UQ Library, I would like to submit a complaint regarding the Graduate Economics and Business Library. It is not concerning the facility itself, rather those that are using it. This issue caught my attention as of today. I have noticed there were many students in the Business Library eZone, and they were not all graduate students. There are several undergraduate students who are using the computers in the eZone today, and I have taken note of this earlier in the semester also. This is of concern to me when I am unable to get a computer because of no availability. Thank you
