Hi,

Last night I was in the engineering 24/7 room listening to my lectures. A cleaner guy came in and ask me to leave. I was getting my rubbish but he was like, 'just leave those and get your back and leave.' so I left. Then I just came back today, and all the rubbishes that me and my friends left were still here and floors are still dirty. I don't know what he meant by "cleaning". I was just a little annoyed since I could've so finished my lectures that I was aiming to finish last night.

Cheers,

ISBN 978-1-58322-929-3 McBay, Aric / Lierre, Keith / Jensen, Derrick - Deep Green Resistance - Seven Stories Press (www.sevenstories.com)
From the book's back cover: "In their long-awaited how-to guide for the deep green ecology movement, Aric McBay, Lierre Keith, and Derrick Jensen make the case that technology won't fix the environmental problems we face, and consumption - no matter how green - is only accelerating the earth's decline."

Does the library have any plans to convert its stock of VHS tapes to DVDs? Not only will this make the items more accessible for loans (who has a VHS any more?) but will preserve the vision from the degradation of the tape medium.

It seems that people freely talk in this library, especially in its computer room, and librarians do not take any measures whatsoever to discourage it. In fact, librarians themselves talk as much and even louder than some people.

I have been using this library for three years now and I just cannot tolerate it any further.

I suggest putting up big signs on the walls to remind people to talk quietly.

Usually, I find the High Use staff helpful and friendly. This weekend, I encountered a staff member who was abrupt and rude. I didn't appreciate her manner and found it unwarranted.
