Hi there,
On the page: http://www.library.uq.edu.au/ssah/useits/test.html there is a broken link pointing to http://www.ets.org/testcoll/index.html . This link should be pointing to http://www.ets.org/test_link/about/ . They must have updated their site.

The context in which it appears is this:
The searchable ETS Test Collection includes details of over 25,000 tests, including publishers' addresses.
ETS Test Collection

Thanks very much,
Bonnie

I keep trying to return books via the SSAH external return slot and it keeps on NOT WORKING. Did the library pay lots of money for something which doesn't work? I vainly held up my staff card, the book's barcode but nothing happened. Why do I need to walk an extra 50 metres to return a book? I am using this forum to complain as a comment sent to UQ staff feedback in early April has still not been responded to. Are we now censoring comment?

I would like to suggest a purchase for the Social Science and Humanities Library:

Title: "Seeking asylum in a global world: A comparative analysis of refugee and asylum seeker citizenship rights, laws and policies in Australia, Canada and New Zealand"

Author: Dr. Alperhan Babacan (from RMIT)

ISBN: 9783639158144

I am currently completing Honours in POLSIS on Australian asylum policy, and am desparate to get my hands on a copy of this book, but the only place I've been able to find it is Angus and Robertson for a prohibitively high price ($290.95!).

Thanks, Justine

Recently the UQ Library computers gained the capacity to use either windows or mac OS's.

While this is a great idea that is very helpful, it is frustrating when you are presented with the option to choose either OS and you pick the "wrong" one and the computer has to go through a lengthy restart. (particularly when you just want to check a website or upload a file and don't care which OS you use.)

Would it be possible to set up an indicator as to which OS system was used last so that you may choose that one if you have no preference?

Thank you
