Recently the UQ Library computers gained the capacity to use either windows or mac OS's.

While this is a great idea that is very helpful, it is frustrating when you are presented with the option to choose either OS and you pick the "wrong" one and the computer has to go through a lengthy restart. (particularly when you just want to check a website or upload a file and don't care which OS you use.)

Would it be possible to set up an indicator as to which OS system was used last so that you may choose that one if you have no preference?

Thank you
