I would like to request the SS&H library purchase a book by the title of Social Identity Process in Organizational Contexts by Terry & Hogg. The library has previously held a copy of this book (that is authored by our Deputy Vice-Chancellor (academic)), however, this copy was not returned in 2007 and has not been replaced. The reason that i request a new copy of this book is purchased is because Social Identity Theory is one of the premier theories in social psychology and this book provides a complete and accurate synopsis of the implications and developments of the theory. Furthermore, Prof Terry and Hogg are both experts within the field of Social Psychology and have been published multiple times on the topic. Finally, as a PhD student, i feel that the library not purchasing a copy and maintaining a copy of this book is inhibiting my ability to progress at an adequate pace throughout my candidature.

I do like this new feature, and I think it is useful, as I'm using it when I log on. I particularly like the place to save my own lists of books researched, very useful for compiling bibliography.
I have been promoting this feature with a contact who works in a NZ University Library.

Hi,
While customising my My Library page, I noticed that the four RCS libraries (for the four Rural Clinical Schools for medicine students) are listed as Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Hervey Bay and Townsville. Townsville is not an RCS, but Toowoomba is one. Could someone correct the name of the library from Townsville to Toowoomba?
Many thanks
I often book individual study rooms (supposidly a QUIET area) only to have 2 or 3 students congregate in the individual study room next to me and carry on discussion for all to hear. Is there some way that quiet study can be enforced as 'quiet study' or will I have to keep knocking on doors and telling them myself every week?
Kind regards.
I would like to recommend the book
