Following is a new book on television in India (a hitherto neglected subject in television scholarship). This would be useful to academics and students alike:

Mehta, Nalin. (2008). 'India on Television'. Harper Collins.

Just letting you know that the clock in the postgraduate area of the biological sciences library has stopped working so may need the battery changed. Thanks

Can you please make the lockers available again in the graduate area of the biological sciences library? I booked a locker online over the weekend and brought all my books, papers etc. into the uni on Monday expecting that I would have a place to store them for the day, only to find that the website has not been updated and that you are no longer offering this service. Please update your website so that other students are not inconvenienced in this way. The locker service that you used to provide was very valuable, especially for postgraduate students. I am a Masters of Commerce student and with the Postgraduate Business Library currently being also closed, it is especially inconvenient. Thank you for considering this issue.

I think the temperature of airconditions in libraries (Social Science & biological science) shall be adjusted after 5:00PM since an outside temperature goes down as well as a number of people in libraries decreases. It also saves energy.

hi i was in the fryer library recently to use the digital microfilm reader and although the staff at the time were very helpful they were also busy and wonder if some basic user instructions could be posted near the machine. It would save everyone a lot of time. thanks.

I understand that, this year UQ library's librarian are no longer belong to its branch but for the streams. I would recommend that on UQ library home page/ My library page, it should provide more information about the function of different streams and also a quick links such as "Teaching and Learning", "Research Information Service" and "Scholarly Publishing and Digitisation Service" so that student or staff will know that which librarian is looking after their degree or school/faculty and who can assist them in research or publishing. As I browse the current library homepage, it is not easy for people to search such information and I don't believe new user or even experience user are really know what's the changes this year except those who read library previous announcement or has been advised by the library last year.

It appears that the catalogue search box in Firefox that once worked, isn't working anymore. I've always found this an EXTREMELY useful feature and would love to see it back in working order.

Would it be possible to change the request function and catalogue so that we can request individual volumes? At present it's impossible to request a single borrowed volume from a set if one of the volumes is still in the shelf.
For example I can't request vol 1 of the Loeb edition of Aeschylus' Works ( PA3825 .A2 2008 v.1) because vol 2 (PA3825 .A2 2008 v.2) is still available .... which is a pain.

Any way you can fix this?
