FYI, the box and chronometer that can be seen in this pic in background was just on antique roadshow (held by grandson of one of the transit members) http://www.library.uq.edu.au/fryer/hume/web/374.html

I want a seven day loan from the economic library not the high use copy. How can I get it?
Peter Ryan, the publisher, has recently published a memoir entitled "Final Proof" through Quadrant Books. I was wondering if the library was planning on adding this book to the collection at all?
Am a little frustrated with the amount of books that haven't been taken care of. And similarly frustrated with the amount of students whose attitude is "the university fined me for parking and/or library so who cares". Surely this costs the university more money then the fines raise? Is there another option you could take such as restricting students from taking out books for a while instead of fining them?
STOP PULPING BOOKS! you are a library! if you need more computer space, put them in tutorial rooms like the iLC.
I hear that the biol sciences library is pulping books, laying off staff, and not even replacing lightbulbs, while planning on spending money to fill the building with brand new computers. I understand that there is a great demand for computers, but most students do have a computer at home. The really invaluable resource libraries provide is access to physical print materials we can't get anywhere else!
Are you pulping 38,000 books from the Biol Sciences library? If you're not, will you take steps to stop the campaign about this taking place on Facebook? Are you aware of the campaign? Kind regards...
Love the Endnote support! Your staff helped me with a tricky problem and am very pleased with the way it is working on my computer now.
Could the library please consider globally changing the intervals that notices are sent out or giving users a choice to (for items that need to be returned soon). I get the feeling that most students tend to disregard the seven day notice because they can still use the item for a week renew it later to that date only after being reminded that their items are overdue. Something like 3 days would be much more appreciate
Please forward this onto to relevant library dept. It appears Library's QU's holdings have been placed on wrong bib record. Below record has catalogued by QU but there are no holdings attached. Are the replies on the library website genuine questions and suggestions or just made up to fill the page? I've submitted 3 this year and have never received a reply for any of them.
Just out of courtesy to other members of the student body, is there some way to regulate the affection displayed in libraries? I realise it is a matter of inter-individual understanding of what public courtesy means, but during SWOTVAC, I do not want to see people half way down each other's throats. PACE library, computers closest Cornwall Street.
