The state of the female toilets in the law library (level 4) can be described as nothing short of abysmal. This is not a recent occurrence. Since the start of the year the state of these toilets has been inexcusable during peak library times - ie. during peak assessment periods. Regularly the female sanitary bins are left overflowing. Put the catalogue back as the default option when you come to the library's homepage. I came to the library's website to look at the catalogue, not search the all the available internet resources. I always use google scholar when I want to do basically what "summon" does.

Could the library please, please, please consider buying a second scanner for the University? Perhaps placing it in PSE library or Biological Sciences? There needs to be one that is a closer walk and one to go to when the one in the SS&H library breaks down or comes under periods of heavy use. It will be the best $200 the library ever spent!

Noise is becoming a real issue in the Fryer Library. Noise coming from group rooms is easily heard throughout the space and people sharing desks often talk between themselves. I feel the librarians should be more proactive in managing noise levels and that more signs are need to inform people about the rules.
