On the two occasions I have asked library staff for clarification, I have been treated as though my questions were invalid or stupid or like I was wasting their time, or as though they were uninterested in helping me. I generally use the more specific search types, but recently I've toyed with encore and am not much impressed. It often misses resources I know to be in the selected sources, and is error prone (often with errors scrolling continuously off the bottom of the screen). Is it this bad, or am I using it incorrectly?

The facilities booking system is good. One thing to consider for the future is some kind of calendar export, or email reminder. This might help reduce no-shows.

At the ssh level 2 computer area..please put some form of tape markings on the ground such as 'please q up here' because many students are unaware there is an 'unofficial' queue when the computer area is full. Some of them do not wait for their turn and get a computer while others wait.

Hi, The book "Tomorrow's gold : Asia's age of discovery" by Marc Faber is listed as "Missing" in the library catalogue. I have checked the shelves, and as expected, it is, in fact, missing. Could we perhaps order another copy? I would very much like to read it.
