Please consider making a small change to the programme running the Catalogue search, such that when you click on a different mode of searching (Title, UQuicksearch, Author etc) it returns the cursor to inside the catalogue search textbox (as opposed to the user having to re-click inside the textbox before typing.) It would just make things run that little bit smoother for those of us who dislike using UQuicksearch.
As the multimedia items (i.e. DVD's) are now 7 day loans, I think it would be beneficial to have a multimedia search tab that searches multimedia only. Would also be good to have the ability to have more search options. Examples include search by all items other than multimedia etc.
