Hi, It would be great if we could block images from being shown with firefox since we are now paying for our internet quota in the libraries. Most of the time when i'm quick searching I don't need to see adverts and large images. A simple addon to provide a button like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1672 would do the trick if properly configured. Thanks

I have heard from a Librarian at Ipswich Campus that the Graduate Study Centre in that Library may be closing "as nobody uses it". Today there have been 6 students there (counting myself). 4 of these appear to be graduate students and I don't mind undergrads here if they are quiet. This suggests to me the Study Centre should stay open, especially given that the "Quiet Area" (which is what the Study Centre will beco

http://books.google.com I've just found this out- google is presenting books (or previews of them online for reading). The beauty of this system is that you don't have to borrow the book anymore from the shelves, you can just read it online.May I humbly suggest that UQ library consider the idea of having such a service for students, (password protected, licensed) for students as this would be a revolution in l

i think the opening of the bio library is a fantastic idea! if only SSH library offers such service! plus it would be fantastic should food (cafe)beavailable too, at least till 9pm!

Hello, I sent email re: logging out tab. but no any response yet. There is log in tab to view personal records, but there is no log out tab. Luckily I found the tab in training page. Now that's gone!!
