Please scrap the new site - the old site was much more user friendly. things are too hidden on the new site. the old site had everything needed without having to go and look for the link.

It seems no one is paying attention to negative feedback about the new website, or even bothering to reply properly to recent comments Eg. "I cant find document delivery?" - was met with - "We are sorry you are having trouble working with the new website. We are not maintaining the old one and it will eventually become unusable. It does surprise me that such an interface that does not intuitively direct people was ever perceived as acceptable for a library that has a marketing slogan Enriching world class scholarship. It really is rather an embarrassing frontend but my experience I must add of the library has been excellent.

what has happened to the search engine?! the new webpage is awkward enough -but both the format and power of the search engine has gone dramatically downhill. This is not just cosmetics -its very important for students to have an effective search engine... I've never had such difficulty with even basic searches in my life!

Given that there has now been several months of overwhelmingly negative feedback on the new library page, I think it's time that some crucial questions were answered. Does the library intend to comprehensively review its decision to implement this page? If so, how will this be done, and when? Will student and staff feedback be sought and taken into consideration? Please could we return to the older library web site - it was far easier to use, and much more direct than the newer version. I really do think this was a retrograde development thank you for listening
