I have been to Level 2 of the Social Sciences Library and find some of the spine labels on the books faded and very hard to read. Is the Library going to print new labels at some future stage?

May I suggest that the request system be modified during peak periods such SWOTVAC? At present, a person can have a high-demand book sitting on the holdshelf for a week while other people who have lodged requests continue to wait. Surely 3 days would be sufficient time for people to pick up their request? Especially when there's multiple holds on the item.

As a mature age undergraduate student, I have to say that I'm very disappointed and concerned about the volume of rubbish and filthy conditions found in the female toilets at the library. If the library is able to broadcast announcements about "theft potential", how about making announcements regarding the prohibition of food and drink in the library. I have just come from the ladies toilet on the ground floor and i

Hi, When viewing the Library Homepage with IE, the links under Finding Information do not line up neatly and it looks kind of messy. Can this be fixed? They are fine with Firefox and Netscape.

Hello, There is an incorrect link on the page, http://www.library.uq.edu.au/endnote/upgrading_to_endnote9.html In particular, the link to instructions for reverting to EndNote 7 on the Adept Scientific cite actually points to a "what's new" page - the text doesn't match the link.

Would it be possible to make the short-term loan system more flexible? To see multiple 3-day, non-renewable copies of a book one wants to read on the shelves is common and frustrating! Perhaps the loan limit could be relaxed outside of semester, or other dates specified by the relevant course coordinator?

One of your recent answers said "We are considering ways in which we can make spaces within the Library more flexible and engaging." I really hope this doesn't mean making the study areas even more of a zoo than they are! I miss lots of lectures because there's nowhere quiet to study at UQ, so if I have a gap I go home.
