Dear Sir or Madam; I am currently witnessing tradesmen at the entrance to the fryer library with building plans. They are referring to them and look like they are making plans. I CERTAINLY HOPE THAT THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE CONSTRUCTION IN THE FRYER LIBRARY DURING TERM! Most of us only short time so we can't afford to have the distraction. Your Students!

On being asked to move from the reading room: the same thing happened to me recently. I was asked to move because I wasn't using materials from that area. I was the only person in the room! It was really quite funny. I felt like I had been transported back to the 1950's. Just one level up there was the usual study-area zoo of loud ipods, mobile chat, eating; my escape from that was foiled.

When printing pdf files in the UQ libraries with 2 pages to 1 A4 page, I have found that I am charged as though they are printing 1:1 page. However, when printing 2:1 from other applications (eg, Word) I am only charged for the actual number of pages printed (eg, a 50 page document printed 2:1 costs the price of 25 pages). Could you fix this problem with pdf printing?

Is there a specific reason why full-access Microsoft Office functions are not available in Level One computers (the ones adjacent to the reference books section)?

Dear Staff, 10 minutes ago I was told by your staff to leave the Reading room. I wasn't talking or listening to loud music, I was sitting do a soduku puzzel, quitely. I asked the staff person why? He said that there was not enough room. I was 1 of 5 people in the room. My case is, I was reading...reading the soduku puzzel, after reading the paper. I think this is a silly rule, and I felt stupid having to get up an
