when a visitor logs in as guest he/she deserves the right to access sites at the very least. What kind of demographic world are we living in?

I respectfully submit that postgraduate students should be able to access material (except journals) for six months, which is the case in other major university libraries. It's a major headache writing my thesis when I have to 'check in' every month, and then lug books in when they have been over renewed. I can understand it if somebody requests a book, but, if nobody else wants them, can't I have extended use?
Why are the requests for articles at the warehouse separate from requests for articles at another campus? Surely some streamlining of library resourses is in order?
Is it possible to catalogue all the volumes of Porter and Moss together. (CN Z7064 .P63 ...) The books and fasicles are in several sizes and some are in Quarto and the others in the standard section, which is a bit irritating. Thanks GW
I am very concerned about the state of the Folio shelves on Level 4 of the SS&H Library. I use these resources a lot and I have found that about half the material the catalogue says should be there is missing. A lot of the other older resources are in a very poor state of preservation. I recommend that this section should be audited as a matter of urgency.
Thank you very much for enabling the Endnote software to be downloaded and updated from the Library website. This is really convenient!
