When there are multiple copies of a title in the library that are all out on loan and a patron wishes to reserve a copy do they choose only one? Why can you not simply start a list so that has each patron requests a title they get teh first copy of that title when it is returned?

Hello, You've got 4 catalogue subjects for Hildegard of Bingen (Hildegard, Saint, 1098 1179). She was never actually canonized, so, strictly speaking, she never became a saint... (now there's some end-of-year pedantry for you!) Thanks for all the great help and friendliness during 2005, hope you all have a very happy 2006.

I have just recieved my alumni membership and have found that I have access to none of the electronic resources I am interested in (journals, psychinfo, web of science). Can this be a mistake? I can not see the value of my membership (thus I am pleased this is free for a year!) if access is so restricted. thanks

There are 2 authors called Mary Douglas listed in the Catalogue. One with no date and 5 items and the other with the date 1921 and 25 items. As far as I can see they are the same person. Would it not be better to put them together as one? This seems to be quite a common problem.
