I just wanted to congratulate the library on the new room booking system for private study rooms at the Fryer Library. I am a PhD student from SPH at Herston,in the past I have been unable to secure a room and often not even a roll top desk. The current system is much more equitable and the internet booking system allows fair access. Please keep the current system and I hope it will be extended to the lockable desk o [cut off]

Regarding the following comment "The privacy button in the patron record doesn't work properly - you have to click on it, get directed to the catalogue, click back (and get the patron record), click on the privacy button again and then get directed to a log-out screen. I've tried a bunch of computers and internet programs and this happens on all of them." I'M EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING!

2001 ARRIVED on 07-06-04 48 I'm not sure if the message relating to the above was sent or deleted, so: it refers to the arrival of a vol. "48" of the International Journal of Slavic Linguistics and Poetics dated 2001. Checkng in SS&H library reveals that there are two identical copies of vol. 43 there, one of which bears this date of arrival. I suggest that the spare copy be returned and the record fixed.

Similar to comment [8:55AM 25-08-05 Terminal 800] it was so much easier when the default search was Title instead of Keyword. I (and many others) tend to know what we're looking for when using the catalogue. Otherwise, all good!

I suggest that the library staff in the sorting area do not keep the door open when they are talking about their weekend. That part of the library is meant to be a quiet area and the noise from the staff was unacceptable. Please keep the door to the staff area closed and the noise down.
