    Welcome to the Style Templates Quiz!

    Study the section of the EndNote manual which explains the rules for working with style templates and the special formatting characters. Then try our quiz to see how well you have understood these concepts. Don't get discouraged if you haven't completely mastered style templates yet!

    In the sample templates below, we use the same symbols that you will see when you create or edit style templates in EndNote:

    In each question, you will be shown a sample formatted reference. You will then see two or three different versions of the style template that might be used to format this reference. Click one of the radio buttons to select the version which you think is correct.
