Eternity in a grain of sand
Sand is tiny fragments of rock that have been worn away over thousands of years. As pictures from the UK Daily Mail show, sand, when viewed at a magnification of over 250 times real life, is not at all plain or uniform, but is made up of tiny pieces of rock that glow like delicate jewels.
