The British Library, as part of its Growing Knowledge: The evolution of research exhibition, has provided a list of available tools to help you research more effectively and expand your scholarly network. Some tools will be very familiar - Facebook, Twitter - but there are others that may not be as well known, for example, crowd-funding tools or visualisation tools.
