ANZAC Day - Resources and opening hours
This Thursday, April 25, is a national day of remembrance to honour members of the Australia and New Zealand Army Corps who fought at Gallipoli in World War I. The date marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces. On this day we now remember all Australians who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
The Library has many resources on the ANZACs, including several primary sources available online. ANZAC Memorial is one such resource that contains soldiers' letters, poems and diary entries in addition to official documents and speeches. You can find more personal stories using a catalogue keyword search: gallipoli personal narratives.
As this day is a national holiday the Social Sciences and Humanities Library will be open from 12pm-5pm and other locations will be closed. Our 24 hour spaces are available for your convenience. Please check our opening hours on our webpages.
