Team meetings #5 and #6
The Strategic Planning team has met twice since the last blog post (on 28/2 and 4/3).
At these meetings, the team:
- Agreed to update the blog on meeting outcomes, weekly
- Reviewed the Genie wishes to hand (keep them coming!)
- Finalised communication initiatives, such as:
- An email to forward to academics, sent to the librarians' email distribution list
- A Hot News item for the Library home page
- An item to be included in the weekly UQ Update
- Planned the filming of Genie video snippets with academics
- Added details around the formal launch program (on 25/3, at 2pm)
- Brainstormed on the capture of feedback during the formal launch
- Confirmed the establishment of a Strategic Planning email address
- Wordsmithed a call for expressions of interest by library staff to write 4 UQ-focused scenarios (suggested readings: ARL, QULOC and Boston College scenarios) - closes 13/3
- Heard of progress in the construction of the team's Strategic Planning webpage
- Discussed Brett's strategic planning roadmap, dated 1/3
- Focused on adding more detail around the multi step strategic planning process (see previous blog post). Including adding a roadshow component to maximise library staff involvement
