As we all bemoan the fact this week that most of our textbooks have been stolen already, that there's hold queues 20 students long and that nobody's using our specially-selected electronic versions, here's an interesting article from the UK journal Information World Review:

I guess we know all too well the problems they're talking about in here, but I found the developments they discuss quite interesting, in particular what their consortium's doing with eBrary and title tendering.
