Some diary notes: 24 November - Dress Down Day - Fundraiser for
Qld Cancer Fund 27 November - Biol Lib moving collection 28&29
November - 8UP - Long Term Strategic Plan (three years) 1 December

Facilities: Ros, Karen and Nea to buy foyer prints from IKEA. Glass
doors to be installed in Fryer. Law refurbishment drawings have
been completed.
Budget 2007: Finalized on 15 November.
Staff Photos: Photos will be added by team, with the BEL team
first. Staff photo for those who missed out on the last session
will be arranged.
Vending Machines: Possibility of being able to obtain USBs and
network cables from vending machines was discussed.
Theft Warning Signs: There was discussion about theft warning signs
for the study carrels, using graphics.
Computer Use: Guidelines are being written on "time out" for
unattended computers.
Projects: Session for Liaison Librarians on weeding projects.
Digitisation of Working Papers. Reclassification in Law of the
Australian Law section.
Bins in public areas: More bins are required in the public areas of
the SSAH Library.
Food and drink in the Library Discussed at Library Executive.
Building to be fumigated on a regular basis.
"What's on this Week" Screensaver The possibility of having a
"What's on this Week" screensaver was discussed.
Disaster Bins Under discussion.
Role of Liaison Librarian Liaison Librarians' meeting on 4
December.

There are some screensavers that are able to show an RSS feed. So you could have a "what's on this week" blog that feeds its rss to the screensaver. e.g. http://allrss.com/rssreaderswindows.html (search this page for 'screensaver' to find some windows apps that do this (Robert would know if our current screensaver already supports RSS))
