Increasing Impact: Total-Impact awarded $125k Sloan grant!

Blogs > eScholarship: research data, publishing, impact ...

ti.jpgTotal-Impact has been awarded $125k from the Sloan Foundation to expand its facilities for measuring the impact of research artefacts. Currently, the system aggregates impact data from many sources, including social media, and displays it in a single report, which is given a permaurl for dissemination, and can be updated any time.

The new funding will allow Total-Impact to reach key milestones within 12 months, and will include the addition of over a dozen new information sources, with a focus on data repositories, and substantial innovation in user interfaces for, and visualisations of, altmetric data.

See the grant proposal for more detail.
