Structured 'how to' for librarians

Blogs > eScholarship: research data, publishing, impact ...

jesl.jpgMany librarians are looking to re-invent their rolesand their profession in the era of Google. Accordingly, the launch of the Journal of eScience Librarianship is timely. It is an open access, peer-reviewed journal with a special focus on services related to data-driven research in the physical, biological, and medical sciences.

Articles in the launch issue cover tiers of research data support services, how to teach data management to library students, using internships for training, and required competencies.

New submissions, both theoretical and practical, are welcome.
