The 3rd Australasian Ethics Network Conference will be held at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, from Thursday 16 - Friday 17 February, 2012. The conference's theme for 2012 is Exploring ethics matters in human research.

Keynote speakers include Dr Sandra Hacker AO, Chair of the Australian Health Ethics Committee; Professor Colin Thomson, Academic Leader, Law & Ethics, University of Wollongong and Dr Gary Allen, Senior Manager, Research Ethics and Integrity, Griffith University.

The Conference will be preceded by a dedicated afternoon "HREC101″ training/refresher style workshop, tailored to new and continuing Human Research Ethics Committee members, on Wednesday 15 February, 2012.
