The UK Government has just released its Strategy for UK Life Sciences and it is all about becoming number one.

The strategy is full of action items and they are on the hunt for world class talent.

Innovation, metrics and incentives are all key to the strategy's success as is the provision of new apprenticeship places and training schemes to provide the future science workforce. The key to success lies in meaningful linkages among the main players - industry, academia and the UK National Health Service.
