QS has released their 2011 Top Universities ranking, and overall UQ is ranked 48th - in the top 50 worldwide. Change the parameters from overall to Life Sciences & Medicine, however, and UQ rises to 37th place, underlining UQ's strengths in this area. The QS data can be sliced and diced in various ways - by international student numbers, citations per faculty, academic reputation and others. Data from earlier years is also available.
