openscholarshipatuq.jpgThe Open Scholarship Survey, part of the Open Scholarship Initiative, goes live this week. As a research project, the survey is intended to obtain a stratified random sample of responses from researchers, research and teaching academics, administrators and students. Around 6,000 people are in the sample population from the broader UQ community.

The survey is being emailed to the randomly chosen group of recipients. If you do not get a copy of the survey in your email, it simply means that your name was not identified by the sampling procedure. Please contact Phil Long if you did not receive an invitation but would still like to contribute your feedback.

The survey is modelled after similar efforts from the University of Michigan, the University of Cape Town and the University of Cambridge among others, allowing UQ data to be compared across different institutions.
