Trove's people search aims to provide biographical information about significant people and organisations, and map their relationships to other parties-thus providing not only facts about significant people, but also context.

A related NLA project, the Australian Research Data Commons Party Infrastructure Project, aims to enable improved discovery of research outputs and data through persistently identifying Australian researchers and research organisations. That way, researchers can be uniquely identified and linked up with their publications and research data-even across many years and several countries-thus improving public access to this kind of information.
