Google defamation case
In the news ....
A 6 person Supreme Court jury in Victoria has found Michael Trkulja had been defamed by images and search results in Google linking him to drug trafficker Tony Mokbel. Google's argument of innocent dissemination failed as Google was aware of the defamatory material and did not take steps to remove. For more info see:

The Library holds a number of books which provide you with law exam tips, such as:

UQ retains AAT National Mooting Title!
UQ has retained the Administrative Appeals Tribunal National Mooting Title, defeating the University of Melbourne at the AAT registry last week.
The team comprising of Mr Aanand Jayachandran and Mr Heath Manning as advocates, with Ms Portia Tyle acting as solicitor, won a closely fought moot before the AAT President - Justice Kerr, Senior Member Fice and Deputy President Constance. Aanand was also awarded the prize for best speaker in the final.
Congratulations to the all the Teams participating in the AAT National Moot and to their coach Peter Billings!
