The Right to Vote

Blogs > Law Library Blog

A recent High Court ruling means an extra 100,000 people will be able to vote in tomorrow's election. A majority of judges found that the federal electoral roll should have stayed open for seven days after the election was called. The Law School's very own Graeme Orr discusses this recent case and the right to vote via podcast on The Law Report. This Radio National program brings regular podcasts on current legal topics, and you can search for other topics of interest back to 1999.
