The Asia Pacific Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Competition were held in Sydney this week and the UQ team consisting of Alex Meaney, Breanna Hamilton and Rola Lin emerged as regional champions. In the preliminary rounds the team beat arch-rivals the National University of Singapore and in the grand final won out against Murdoch University. The team will now travel to India in September to attend the World Finals which will be judged by three sitting members of the International Court of Justice.
