Hi All, A few people have asked about the adults only rating of "Little house on the Prairie" in Finland, so I thought I had better explain. Apparently the censors in Finland charge 1 Euro per minute to view programs and assign them classifications. Universal didn't cough up the dough so the show was classified adults only and probably only sold in brown paper packages. Even though Little house on the Prairie is still running on Finnish TV it would seem Censors are not allowed to classify in their spare time, Go figure.

Another one from the "That's not right" files: Iconic US entertainer Kenny Rogers entered a Kenny Rogers lookalike contest in 2002 and out of 6 candidates finished 4th. The Winner was a man called Michael Mason from Detroit. What an identity crisis! To make matters worse Kenny entered a Michael Mason look alike contest the following year. Kenny finished second, but did beat Michael Mason who finished 5th. How would you feel if you looked more like someone who looked more like you than you did than they did? As of next week, after 5pm our library here at Ipi we will not win any "Open library" look alike contests because we will be closed. Our summer hours kick in and are 9-5 Monday to Friday Marcos
