A WiFi "hotspot" provides all TPCH (Prince Charles Hospital) Library clients with open and unrestricted Internet access for use on their personal mobile device (laptop, tablet or smartphone).

It is separate from the Queensland Health network and separate from Eduroam (used by the universities). The concept is not new for libraries - Brisbane City Council Library, the State Library of Queensland and the Northern Territory Department of Health Libraries all provide open WiFi Internet access to their clients.
