The Health and Welfare of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, 2010

This snapshot of Indigenous health draws on data from the 2008 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Survey; the 2004-05 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey; and the 2006 Census of Population and Housing. There are statistical overviews of demographic, social and economic characteristics; education; mortality; adult health and mothers' and children's health. Updates on these topics will be released later in 2010: disability and carers; mortality; housing and access to health and community services.
