The July 2009 electronic Therapeutic Guidelines (eTG complete) update includes the new release of Endocrinology 4. This has been completely revised, and important additions include: expanded text on management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes; an interpretation matrix for thyroid function test results; changes in specific pharmacotherapy for osteoporosis; new information on choice of hormonal contraception for women and on sex hormone replacement therapy, and expansion of the section on fluid and electrolyte abnormalities.
