SCImago is a free access Journal Citation Metric resource developed by Researches in Spain. The strength with the SCImago Journal Rank is that it is free and that it utilizes the data supplied by Scopus which covers 13,000 journals. The technology behind Googles PageRank algorithm have been used to develop the SJR or SCImago Journal Rank and this measures a citation's impact by weighing citations according to how highly the journal is cited.
