Thomas Mann I thought the attached paper was interesting. Thomas Mann is an eminent reference librarian at the Library of Congress. He has long argued the importance of reference librarians in the research process. This recent paper deals (among other things) with the need to teach library skills to researchers.

Pages 32 to 38 deal specifically with infoskill teaching. I like the comment "I’ve sometimes had experiences with undergraduate classes in which no one took any notes at all until I gave everyone my e-mail address."
