The University of Queensland Anthropology Museum has launched a new online catalogue, which includes records of over 26 000 items from the Museum's ethnographic, photographic and lithic collections.

The catalogue is available to the public via a new website: www.anthropologymuseum.uq.edu.au/ .

In 1949, L P Winterbotham's personal collection was donated to the University forming the basis of the Anthropology Museum. The catalogue includes descriptions and images of items from the Winterbotham foundation collection.

The Fryer Library holds some examples of L .P Winterbotham's anthropological work as well as photographs of the opening of the anthropological museum, which are available on eSpace.
