During the semester break new multifunction devices were installed across all branches of the UQ Library. This means that students will now be able to print, photocopy and scan in colour as well as greyscale.

In addition to the 2 machines that will print, photocopy and scan, Gatton Library now has 2 express printing machines that can be used to photocopy, scan or print directly from a USB. Express printing supports only JPEG, TIFF, PDF and XPS files.

Printing and photocopying still costs 12c per A4 page. Double sided printing now costs 22c, so you can save credit by printing double sided. Scanning to a USB device will cost 5c per scan. Colour printing and copying will cost 30c per A4 page.

There will be instructions on how to use the new machines displayed. However, if you need assistance, the library staff will be pleased to help.
