MyMail+ access problems?

The link to your student email via the myMail+ tab in my.uq is currently broken. You can still access your email if you go to outlook.com. You will need to enter your full email address and the password you created for your email+ when you first set it up. If you don’t remember this password you can still reset it through my.uq. These steps from the Ask I.T. Help Desk will help you.

1. Go to my.uq and sign in. 2. Click on Personalise at the top of the page 3. Click on the 2nd link down on the page, Mymail (not the yellow tab at the top) 4. Set a password for your myMail+

Note: This password must be different from your ordinary UQ password.

5. Click Change and wait. You should see a "Success..." message. 6. Navigate to http://outlook.com 7. Your username will be your complete UQconnect email address. This is, by default, firstname.familyname@uqconnect.edu.au

If you have forgotten your email address, it can be found under the myProfile link on the left hand side of your my.UQ page, next to"Mailexternalexchangelabs:"

8. Your password is the one you just changed.

The problem with the password will be resolved soon. This method will always work. You can choose to always go to outlook.com, or continue clicking on the yellow 'myMail+' tab in my.uq when the problems are resolved.
