It's the middle of O (Orientation) week and Gatton library staff would like to wish you a warm welcome to Semester 1, 2009.

New students tend to have lots of questions when they first start at University. The Library can help you with lots of things that can make studying easier.

During O week the Library is holding the following activities:

Library tours - come along and see what available. University Libraries tend to be far bigger than the ones you may be used to. Discovering the UQ Library: Introduction to Library services and training including efficient information research techniques and use of computers. Ask I.T. Computing @ UQ: Covering the most important IT-related aspects of student life.

Also held in the Library during O week will be the following activities:

Student ID Cards: An opportunity to get your Student ID Card Timetable, Sign-On and Enrolment Session: Get started with usernames, passwords, email, enrolments, timetables and more.
