Staff from the Gatton Library would like to offer their congratulations to Khamla Mott.

Last week it was announced that Khamla had won one of the 2009 University of Queensland Library Excellence Awards. The University of Queensland University Library Excellent Awards are presented each year to students who are able to demonstrate excellence in the use of Library resources to enhance their studies. Recipients of this award receive a $500.00 scholarship.

Khamla is a Bachelor of Applied Science (Horticulture) student based at Gatton Campus. She is in her second year of study and impressed the judges with her demonstration of significant personal learning and use of Library resources.

Khamla said the win was "great" and expressed her thanks to the staff at Gatton Library for all their assistance during her time at University.
