Anyone wanting to access old Australian newspapers which were published between 1803-1954 can now find them online from the National Library of Australia.

The Australian Newspapers Service is searchable via date, state, titles and articles – very easy and fun to use. Because the text in old newspapers could sometimes be hard to read, the National Library of Australia wants you to make corrections if you know the right words.
