31/1/07 AUSTRALIAN GUIDE TO LEGAL CITATION AND ENDNOTE X
Those of you who use our EndNote output styles and guide for the Australian Guide to Legal Citation may be interested to know that I have updated the guide to cover EndNote X. See our EndNote styles page at: http://www.library.uq.edu.au/faqs/endnote/styles.html
The output styles themselves have not changed, but I have produced a revised RefTypeTable file for use with the styles. There is a link to this from the guide. The revised file will hide the new reference types in EndNote X and can be used with EndNote 9 or 8 also.
I have amended the guide to remove the suggestion to turn off instant formatting. EndNote was unstable with footnote styles up until EndNote 7, but I don't think that is an issue anymore, so it should be safe to use Cite While You Write with the AGLC footnote styles.I have also added a secton on the cross-reference feature in Word. This is nothing to do with EndNote, but it is a very useful way of dealing with the AGLC requirements for repeat citations.
