The Research Information Service - St. Lucia is offering Endnote classes
with
Endnote 16 (aka Endnote X6).
There are 22 places available..
All sessions will be held in the Biological Sciences Library Building (Building
94) in Training
Room 1 (ezone) on Level 2.
NOTE : Late arrivals are not accepted for this session.
NOTE : It is essential to have an established UQ username/password to
participate in this course.
NOTE : Please bring a usb device if you have one.
BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL
ENDNOTE Training.
A solid introduction to Endnote v.16 (Endnote X6) bibliographic
referencing programme.
Endnote software helps you manage your references.
The session will cover:
Saving your references into an Endnote Library using Export, sorting and
searching the library,
inserting references into a Word document, formatting a document in a
selected style, and how to get help with Endnote.
It does not cover the more advanced features such as editing styles or
filters.

EndNote at the DH Engineering & Sciences Library
EndNote
workshops will be held in the Dorothy Hill
Engineering & Sciences Library (Hawken Building 50) on:
- Thursday 9 May, 1.30 - 3.30pm
- Wednesday 17July, 10am - 12noon
These 2 hour workshops will cover setting up an EndNote library and importing references from the databases you use e.g. Web of Science. Working with EndNote and Word to write papers and create bibliographies. Book here.

EndNote workshops will be held in the Dorothy Hill Engineering & Sciences Library (Hawken Building 50) on:
- Thursday January 31, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
- Tuesday February 19, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
- Thursday March 28, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
These 2 hour workshops will cover setting up an EndNote library and importing references from the databases you use e.g. Web of Science. Working with EndNote and Word to write papers and create bibliographies.
Booking is not required however there are only 16 places available.

EndNote is a sophisticated referencing desktop application. EndNote workshops will be held in the Dorothy Hill Engineering & Sciences Library (Hawken Building 50) on:
- Tuesday October 23, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
- Wednesday November 7, 9:30 am to 11:30 am
These 2 hour workshops will cover setting up an EndNote library and importing references from the databases you use e.g. Web of Science. Working with EndNote and Word to write papers and create bibliographies.
