The SCImago Research Group has just released the Scimago Institutions Rankings World Report 2010.


SIR 2010 World Report is the world's broadest coverage ranking showing research outcomes for 2,833 institutions. Developed by SCImago Research Group report indicators include:

• Output measured using the research database Scopus
• Interntational collaboration
• Normalised impact, the citation rate an institution receives compared to the world average
• Publication rate in the top 25% of journals using the SJR indicator.
