The Library has introduced a new tool for providing support for research higher degree students as they develop their skills in information retrieval. We have called this resource the Research Higher Degree Information Skills Audit (or more simply, the RHD Infoskills Audit).

Based on the individual answers to these audits, liaison librarians are available to work with RHD students over the course of their degree to help them improve their information-seeking skills through one-to-one consultations. Liaison librarians can also organise discipline-specific training sessions for groups of RHD students if required.

The RHD Infoskills Audits are discipline-specific at the Faculty, School or Institute level. They can be accessed on the Library website at: http://www.library.uq.edu.au/infoskil/rhdaudit.html (select Engineering and Information Technology).
